5 simple ways to sell more from every brochure

Every month brings a fresh Avroy Shlain brochure — and with it, a fresh chance to earn. You don't need to be pushy or "salesy" to do well. You just need a simple routine. Here are five things our top Beauty Advisors do with every new brochure.
1. Share it the day it drops
The customers who order most are usually the ones who see the brochure first. The moment a new brochure goes live, send it to your WhatsApp contacts with one short, friendly line — "New brochure's out, some lovely specials this month 💕 anything catch your eye?"
2. Lead with the specials, not the whole catalogue
Nobody scrolls 100 pages. Pick three or four standout deals — a fragrance on special, a skincare set, a gift idea — and highlight those. It's far easier for someone to say yes to a specific offer than to "the brochure".
3. Make it personal
You know your customers. If someone always buys Coppélia, tell them when it's on special. If a customer mentioned dry skin, point them to the body butter. A single tailored message beats ten generic ones.
4. Ask, don't wait
Most orders are lost simply because nobody asked. A gentle nudge two days before your order deadline works wonders:
"Closing my order on Thursday — want me to pop anything in for you?"
That one message brings in orders that would otherwise never have happened.
5. Say thank you — and plant the next order
When an order arrives, a quick thank-you message keeps you top of mind. Add a line like "the next brochure has a gorgeous gift set coming" and you've already started your next sale.
