Who we are
This website is run and maintained by Liza Truter, an Independent Avroy Shlain Group Manager ("we"). We take your privacy seriously and handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you join or apply through this website we ask for the details needed to register you as an Avroy Shlain Beauty Advisor: your name, WhatsApp and cell numbers, email address, date of birth, South African ID number and delivery address, plus how you heard about us.
What we use it for
To process your application and register you as a Beauty Advisor with Avroy Shlain; to contact you on WhatsApp, email or phone about your application, onboarding, training, orders and team news; and to send a birthday wish. We never sell your information.
Who we share it with
The details required for registration are submitted to Avroy Shlain Cosmetics (Pty) Ltd to open your Beauty Advisor account. Within our team, only the leaders who work with you can see your details. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Messages and opting out
You can stop our messages at any time: reply STOP to any WhatsApp from us, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. Opting out doesn't affect your Beauty Advisor account.
How we protect it
Your information is stored securely with access limited to the team leaders who need it. Our staff area is protected by login, and we don't keep your information longer than needed for your registration and our records.
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep team members signed in and to remember Academy access. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email liz@stayravishing.com and we'll help. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) if you're unhappy with how your information is handled.
