1. Coppélia is a whole range, not one perfume. The name also covers body sprays from R65, lotions at R99 and the entire Coppélia Colour make-up range — the 2-in-1 mascara, for example, is R179 (price at time of writing, August 2026). A cheap "Coppélia" listing may be a perfectly genuine product; it just isn't the Eau de Parfum.

2. "Inspired-by" oils exist. Some sellers make perfume oils inspired by Coppélia. These are legal, usually labelled as such, and often cost very little.
