VINYLUX — a week of colour, no lamp
VINYLUX is the answer for a client who wants proper colour without committing to a gel service. It is two steps rather than three: colour straight onto the clean natural nail, then the weekly top coat. There is no base coat, which surprises people used to every other polish system.
It hardens in daylight rather than under a lamp, and gets tougher over the week instead of softer. Adhesion promoters in the colour coat anchor it to the plate and form a barrier that stops pigment staining the nail underneath — which is why you can wear a dark shade and not be left with yellow nails.
It shares its shade names with Shellac, so a client can have gel one month and polish the next in exactly the same colour.

Treatment Essentials — the three C's
CND teaches every manicure as care, condition, coat: build the natural nail up, keep the nail and skin conditioned, then coat and protect it with something breathable. The treatments are the first two, and they are the part clients skip and technicians shouldn't let them.
- SOLAROIL
- The award-winning nail and cuticle oil — light-penetrating almond, rice-bran and jojoba oils with vitamin E. Repeated use is what drives it deeper; it belongs in every single service.
- RESCUERXx
- A keratin-protein and jojoba treatment for nails that are already damaged — the one to prescribe after acrylic, or after a set that got peeled off. Twice a day on bare nails, left 30 minutes before washing. In CND's own trial at four weeks, 73% saw less splitting and 80% less peeling.
- STRENGTHENER RXx
- For plates that are soft and bending rather than damaged. Two thin layers on bare nails, then one a day for four days, then start again — CND's own protocol is 14 days. Vegan, formaldehyde-free and breathable, and it does not yellow the nail.
Preparation & Removal
Applying the coating is only half the service. Using CND's own prep and removal products is what protects the four things that actually matter: a guaranteed professional result, full-system integrity, service longevity, and a natural nail that is undamaged when the client comes back.

Start with SolarOil — it is what most women actually need, and it is the only one of these you can wear over a manicure. Dry nails snap instead of bending, and dry skin around the nail is where hangnails come from; SolarOil is simply the oil put back. It works as a daily habit and does nothing as an occasional treat, which is why the small bottle is usually the right buy: it lives in your handbag, not the bathroom cupboard. Choose RescueRXx first instead if your nails are damaged right now — peeling in layers, splitting, or white patches after a bad soak-off. That one is a four-week course on bare nails, and you move on to SolarOil afterwards. 5 productsMost of us paint straight onto a clean nail and then wonder why the colour is gone in two days. Your nail is naturally a little oily, and hand cream, cuticle oil and filing dust sit on top of that. Colour needs something clean and dry to grip — oil in between works like grease under sticky tape, and the colour lifts away from the edge or peels back at the cuticle. Ironically, the better your oiling habit, the more this matters before you paint. ScrubFresh wipes the oil off the bare nail just before colour goes on. OFFLY FAST takes the colour off again properly afterwards, so you are never tempted to pick or peel — picking is what actually tears layers off your nails. None of these improve the condition of your nails; they are tools for doing the job properly. Whatever you use, finish with oil.
