You buy at the Beauty Advisor price, your customer pays the brochure price, and the difference is your profit.

What happens on day one, right after you register?

Registering online takes about a minute, and it's completely free — R0, no starter kit to buy, no stock to hold. You need to be 18 or older, living in South Africa, with a valid SA ID and your own cellphone number. Here's the exact sequence:

1. The PIN SMS. While you fill in the form, a one-time PIN arrives on your phone to confirm your number. Type it in and finish registering.
2. The account number SMS. Shortly after, Avroy Shlain SMSes you your account number. Save it somewhere safe — it's your business's ID, and you'll use it every time you order.

What should you do in your first week?

One thing: get the brochure in front of people. We'll send you the link to this month's brochure, and your job is simply to share it — to three WhatsApp groups you're already in, and to your status.

That's it. Not a sales pitch, not a speech. Something like: "I've started with Avroy Shlain — here's the new brochure. Shout if you'd like anything, I'll sort it out for you."

Your first orders will come from people you already know — family, colleagues, the school-run group, church friends. When do you place your first Avroy Shlain order?

Around week two, once a few orders have come in. And here's the part that surprises new Beauty Advisors: you only pay for what your customers have already ordered. No guessing, no stock sitting in your cupboard, no money at risk.

Delivery on your stock orders is free over R550 to your door, or over R750 to a PAXI collection point.

An illustrative example (not a promise — your numbers will be your own). Say three people take the After Midnight EDP Buy-1-Get-1-Free deal from the August 2026 brochure: two 75ml perfumes for R499, saving R499, valid until 31 August 2026. That's R1,497 in orders — well over R550, so delivery to your door is free. How do you actually get your money in weeks three and four?

Your order arrives, and this is the lovely part: delivering.

1. Hand over the orders. Each customer pays you the brochure price — cash or an EFT to your account.
2. Keep your profit. You already paid head office the Beauty Advisor price, so what's left over is yours. Nobody "pays you commission" weeks later — the margin is in your hands the day you deliver.
3. Send one follow-up. A few days later: "How's the perfume treating you?" That single message is where next month's orders come from.

What trips up most new Beauty Advisors?

Two habits, and neither is a character flaw — I've watched them both, and I've done them both.

Waiting for perfect. Waiting until you know every product, every price, every answer before you share the brochure. You don't need to — the brochure does the talking. Share it in week one, exactly as you are, and say "I can get this for you." You'll learn the products as your customers order them.

Not following up. Sending the brochure once and then going quiet, because you don't want to be a pest. One friendly reminder before the order deadline isn't pestering — most people meant to order and simply forgot. They're busy, not uninterested.

Do the opposite of those two things and you're already ahead of most first-month Beauty Advisors.
